Many of you have read and heeded the words I have sent forth lately
concerning walking with Me in purity and holiness, and setting your
face to follow Me at all costs. But I see a troublesome thing
happening with some that I wish to speak to. In your following, and in
your efforts, you have put on a solemn face that speaks of hardship
and woe.
This does not have to be so. In your following, don't forget the
fun, and don't set aside the laughter!
Following Me should never be a matter of sour or doleful
appearance, but rather it should be a joy and a delightful thing. My
way is not too hard to walk with a smile and a light step. In fact, if
you cannot walk it with that lightness of heart, and with an outlook
of both joy and fun, then you are walking it in error!
Do you think that I am a solemn and sad-appearing God? Do you think
that I do not know how to smile or how to break loose in a giant belly
laugh? Read My word again, and look for the signs of My joy breaking
forth! Re-read the stories of My walk on earth, and read them with a
twinkle in your eye and a laugh in your mouth, and see how well it
goes down!
Yes, there are some things that will happen which will cause the
world to mourn and wail, but they should NOT cause you to do so. My
people are bound up in My love and care, and will always be able to
walk with that lighthearted joy and sense of fun that I created you to
have. Yes! I CREATED you to have fun! Did you think the devil created
fun? No, no, no! I did! He only perverts it! But fun was created for
My people, and My people were created for fun! For laughter! For joy!
Don't let the enemy rob you of it by telling you that you must wear
such a solemn appearance, and be so serious all the time that your
life becomes a drudgery.
So I tell you today, LIGHTEN UP, My children! Walk in joy, don't
forget the fun, and don't set aside the laughter. For when you walk in
these things, you walk in line with Me, and you walk a walk that will
cause the world to desire what you have. Follow Me, yes, but have fun
doing it! Laugh at your mistakes as you ask My forgiveness, don’t beat
yourself up over them. Reflect the joy of your Savior and your God.
Reflect it in your face, in your voice, and in those wonderful deep
belly laughs! When you do, know that I am laughing and rejoicing and
having fun right along with you!
